Main functions of the control module

• Heat pump operation control
  Manages heating, cooling, and domestic hot water (DHW) production, including mode switching.

• Performance and efficiency optimisation (COP)
  Controls compressor output, circulation pumps, and valves based on outdoor temperature, system demand, and weather compensation.

• High-temperature system management
  Enables operation with radiator systems with water outlet temperatures up to 75 °C, which is typical for Generation M.

• Integration of backup and auxiliary heat sources
  Controls:

  • electric backup heater (if installed),

  • external boiler (bivalent systems),

  • solar thermal systems,

  • buffer tanks and DHW tanks.

• System safety and protection
  Monitors pressures, temperatures, flow rates, and fault states. Protects the compressor and the entire hydraulic system.

• Communication and remote control
  Supports BMS integration, smart home systems, and cloud-based solutions such as remote monitoring and service access.
